A Year In Review

As 2022 draws to a close, I’ve been looking back at this year and wanted to share some of my highlights.

Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who has supported me in my business - from the clients that have entrusted me with their brands to fellow freelancers and suppliers who have provided their expertise. I’ve reached an important milestone of three years in business this December and although I’ve worked in marketing for much longer, it’s been a voyage of discovery and excitement that has surpassed my expectations.

The year in numbers…

34

Local business consultancy projects completed on behalf of Norfolk County Council as part of their Go Digital campaign.

4

New clients - with work ranging from a new website, marketing strategy and advice, and marketing management.

4

Brand new websites developed, and lots of updating of existing ones!

100%

Client retention. A statistic I am particularly proud of, especially in the highly competitive marketing sphere.

My Highlights

This was a hard task as there have been so many moments that have made me smile this year, but here are my top five.

  1. Reaching 26 5 star Google Reviews from clients that I’ve worked with.

  2. Being involved in the concept right through to launch of a brand new e-commerce brand and seeing the enquiries and orders exceed our predictions. Working with the business to develop its offering and continuously improve SEO positioning and results.

  3. Working on behalf of market-leading brands such as Google and Gumtree to deliver SEO driven content.

  4. Being able to work with former colleagues including Sarah for Electric Wheels and Robert for Hulbert West. Plus, receiving countless recommendations from people I’ve had the pleasure of working with in the past.

  5. Developing affordable marketing packages to help small businesses thrive in this turbulent marketplace.
